Thunder Hole, ME

Acadia National Park, Maine

Located on the East side of Mount Desert Island, Thunder Hole is a coastal inlet that displays the sheer power of the oceans tides.

This was a spot I had visited in the past and one I was excited to share with Shauna. As the waves crash into the inlet the sound of exploding thunder fills the air. The water fills the inlet in a matter of seconds, and drops rapidly with the chaotic pull of the sea.

We wanted to make sure we capture a cool photo of us at this spot so we got creative and placed our camera on a rock far away.

Afterwards we decided to roam around on the cliffs on the coastline and see what they had to offer.

The Cliffs along the coast of Acadia are truly spectacular and have some of the most enjoyable rock scramble I’ve ever experienced!
