Yep, the cold showers are getting pretty old since PA is growing colder with each day. 🍁 This video does not quite show the difficulty of this project, and Joey has handled the task so phenomenally. He makes it look a lot easier than it is! 👏 We still have a few more steps until it is fully-functional and complete. We take our time to keep our safety standards high, since it is running on propane. Anyway, enjoy this short little video and thank you all for following our journey!

We are very much still at the beginning of our bus life journey, being about one month in. We feel that we've grown immensely through this constantly adapting way of life. There is still so much to learn and go through. This decision was the best decision we ever made 💛

After the 3 most devastating nights of our lives, our Momo is home and safe 🥲 from spotting him under a pallet of hay and unloading almost all of it at 1 am, to two, all night searches freezing in the woods with a thermal imaging camera and a flash light . Every heart ache and tear had proved to be worth it. Our baby boy is safe and healthy and we are eternally grateful for everyone that helped us along this excruciating journey. We would have never stopped searching for you Momo. With our new water heater on the way to installment, we needed a solution for our excessive plugs. We could only use one utility at a time and all those wires were hard on the eyes. With some knowledgeable advice from people we know, to doing basic research, we are able to call this challenge a success. We are really happy with this new gadget, which definitely makes life more convenient for us. Stay tuned for our next challenge, we must cut a big hole in the side of the bus for our water heater 😳 Wish us luck!

A year ago, we didn't know exactly when the bus would be completed and/or liveable. We just decided to take any free time we had and dedicated it to this dream. It's funny, with all the work put into this, it is still surreal to me that we live on a home on wheels. I never would have thought I'd be here today. This reminds me of a philosophical quote that I hold close to me, which is, "Set the heart upon the work, but never it's reward." ✨️💧How The Water Process Works!💧✨️ We are working on minimizing our water consumption so we can extend the life of the water tank. That will be a lifesaver when we meet secluded destinations. Also, our cold showers energize us quite a bit. We've learned it's best to take them midday, aka the warmest part of the day. Overall, this process us teaching us how sacred and valuable water is. It used to come to us so freely, without second thought but now we must use it with humility.
