The North Bubble Trail in Acadia National Park is a mild trail, being one mile out and back. Still being such a simple hike, its surely one of the more rewarding views in the park!

We set out on our short journey around noon at the “Bubbles Divide” trail head off of Park Loop Road. With the trail very clearly marked, we had no struggle staying on track. Lush plant life and mushrooms of all shapes and sizes could be seen everywhere we looked.

Only about a quarter mile in we caught a glimpse of the beauty that awaited us at the top and we couldn’t be more excited!

Be sure to continue straight on the “Bubbles Trail” leaving the “Bubbles Divide Trail” behind you.

In just a half hour we had made it to the top of The North Bubble with a view we could never forget!

If you are exploring Acadia National Park and are looking for a quick yet fulfilling hike, this trail is for you! With minimal traffic, this is one of our favorites. We completed this trail in only an hour and a half and had tons of energy for the rest of the day to come.
